During Haunt phase:
- The haunt begins when one player triggers an event in which they become the betrayer.
- The betrayer secretly reads their own special haunt scenario from the haunt book while other players read their own scenario from another book.
- The objective for both sides (heroes vs betrayer) is revealed and each side must work towards achieving their goal while trying to stop their opponents.
